PITTSBURGH -- Police said they are searching for a man who went missing from a local veterans' hospital.

VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System Police said they're searching for William McCoy.

Police said McCoy was last seen at the eye clinic at the University Drive Campus in Oakland Monday afternoon.

McCoy is a black, 81 year old, who is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 155 pounds.

Police said he was last seen wearing a dark gray sweatshirt, light blue jeans, white Velcro tennis shoes and a dark blue hospital robe.

McCoy has shoulder-length, black, wavy hair, dark eyes and mustache.

Police said McCoy has not had his medication and may be confused or disoriented if approached.
